Angus Jacobs


Angus Jacobs is quiet, letting his skiing do the talking he has hit his head many a time but this does'nt stop him, he can take a hit and get back up ready to show the slope who's boss.....

Years riding?

Since I was 1!!!!:)

How did you start skiing/ boarding?

Did not really have a choice I was 1 and my Dad tought me at Tamworth snowdome.

Favourite Scottish Mountains and why?

Cairngorm because there is a good park and is open the longest!!!

Favourite resort worldwide and why?

Morzine in France Ihad a great family holiday.

Favourite rider?

MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!:)

Favourite trick?

360 saftey grab because you almost feel your flying !!!:)

What music get's you stoked to ride?

Don't like listening to music when skiing cause it puts me off.

What does snowboarding/ skiing mean to you?

FUN and excitement and i just love it.

Most memorable moment so far?

Landing my first 720

Any words of wisdom?

Don't hesitate at the top of the slope JUST DO IT!!!!!:)

Something to look forward too :)

The Westbeach Snowflex Series is coming to Aberdeen, yes that's right ABERDEEN, WOOHOO, STOKED!! It will be on the 18th September 2010, it'll be RAD!! Check out this edit from when the riders headed down to Bearsden for last years one (thank you for the heads up Grant).....



Sat & Sun Ski Groms Clubs

Introducing your Sunday Coaches, Linzi, Andy & Katie.....



Come along to the Saturday and Sunday Ski Clubs for some coaching on all aspects of skiing that is possible on a dry matt!! Sundays are for those aged 8-15 and is from 09.30-11.30 with Saturdays being for the younger age groups from 09.30-11.00. Come along have some fun and become a rad skier.....



Sunday SB Kids Club

Your coach Barry Parker (just watch he may start coaching you basket ball!!)

Barry will be on hand to coach those aged 10-15 on the fine art of the shred, maybe throwing in a front flip or two just to show off ya know it's what he does!! You'll be doing some riding some freestyling and maybe some b balling on your boards now that would be rad!! Be there 09.30-11.30 to join in in what already is a tight crew ready to welcome some new shred hungry groms.....

Saturday SB Kids Club.....


Introducing your coach Rutger Simons (he's dutch you know!!)


Open to kids aged 7-9 years who have passed red level or equivalent. Rutger will make sure much fun is had, YEAH!! You'll get to progress your riding while learning to pop a jump or 2 and who knows maybe slide a rail or 2 too!! Be there 09.30 to 11.00.....

Rohaan and his bro ZZZZZZZZZZZ just turned up and instantly started killing it on their boards, Rohaan is constantly wanting to learn new things no matter how gnarly it may be, stoked.....

How did you start skiing/ boarding?

i started because i did skateboarding and snowboarding looked similar so i gave it a shot and went to the slopes went my friend before getting lessons.lol

Favourite Scottish Mountains and why?

The Lecht because it's the only one that i have been to.

Favourite resort worldwide and why?

Utah probs. Looks really good and alot of professional riders have said that it is their fav place to ride ie. shaun white , so that must mean that its really good.

Favourite rider?

Shaun White or Sage Kostenburg

Favourite trick?

fav trick i can do is bs 180 cause its fun and simple. fav trick i cant do is cork 1080 nose grab or double McTwist 1260.

What music get's you stoked to ride?

Any music really. But when i hear songs that i have heard in my boarding game 'shaun white' when im riding its quite inspiring.lol

What does snowboarding/ skiing mean to you?

Everything. I always want to be snowboarding. And i want to go into more serious comps like the winter x games or ttr.

Most memorable moment so far?

When i first learned a mctwist or when i got around 6/7 ft of air on the qp. both gave me a huge adrenalin rush

Any words of wisdom?

never give up. nothing is impossible.

Kris also works at the slope and is a key member of staff who is a hard worker and gets the job done, fun times are had for sure!! He succesfully ran the freestyle night on a saturday night over the winter getting everyone stoked with some rad sessions, well done dude :)
